I am a massive fan of using Gymnastic Rings in Calisthenics exercises, and luckily, I got my hands on these Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings. We like the company behind these rings, and their products have successfully withstood our reviews in the past. It’s high time the Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings underwent the same treatment. I’ll look at all the qualities I like for my wooden gymnastic rings, such as material quality, texture, grip, fit, finish, and dimensions. Of course, the competition in the market is stiff, and I’ll practice a no-holds-barred approach to this review. I also have a discount code (CWW10) for you.

I fully expect a similar experience from the Pullup & Gymnastic Rings. Rings are not complicated products. With their experience and reputation, these rings must surely be another success. We’ll find out.
First Look At Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings
At first glance, the rings look very basic. They are plain and have no logo or company name on them. The straps are similarly basic but look sturdy. The markings on the straps are crisp, and there is a logo and brand name on them at the top. The rings are the Olympic standard 28mm and made of birch-wood laminate. The laminate produces a crisp grain, and apart from a few overlapping lines, it is faultless.

Pullup & Dip went for a classic white-on-black color palette for their straps, which is easy to read and will appeal to most. The buckles are black powder-coated and seem solid.
The Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings come with a door anchor and a crisp-looking tote bag.

The ring’s crisp birch wood laminate has a fine satin finish. It feels good and has excellent sweat absorption. I prefer wooden rings and grips for their grip and sweat absorption characteristics, and these rings also possess those characteristics. They are only available in 28mm. For Calisthenics, the 32mm CrossFit standard is more typical, but it comes down to personal preference. We train with both types and like either.

The straps are 100% nylon and smoothly woven. The steel buckles are rated for up to 200kg per strap for a combined potential weight capacity of 400kg (880lbs) when both are in use. That is more than enough leeway for any athlete and any exercise, including Weighted Calisthenics.
The straps are numbered and marked for easy equalizing. The numbers are crisp and easily legible. However, from experience with other Pullup & Dip straps with the same markings, we know that the lettering and markings tend to fade and peel over time. The straps feed through the buckle easily.

Exercising with the Pullup and Dip Gymnastics Rings
The Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings offer a lot of exercise variety. Rings are the more versatile option compared to Pull-Up Bars, and the extras you get with Pullup & Dip only add to this repertoire. I did all my basics like Pull-Ups and Chin-Ups with no problem, including the Muscle-Up, Front- and Back Levers and Skin-the-Cat in between.

The rings are ideal for all these staple exercises. Lowering the rings allows for easier dips and Muscle-Ups, as well as rows, extensions, and pelicans. All of this from a single good quality product.
The door anchor changes any regular door into a suspension trainer. Using the door anchor, you can do your rows and extensions without needing a permanent fixture for your rings. Finally, you get a PDF explaining 45 exercises you can do with your Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings.

Conclusions About the Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings
The Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings do everything you expect from a set of decent Gymnastic Rings. They are sturdy, and you can do all your ring exercises with them. The added door anchor is helpful in a few cases, although not necessary for the exercises they allow you to do. Likewise, the PDF is nice touch but all this information is more readily available online.
The rings themselves are typical, and the straps are good. However, the painted markings on the straps are of low quality and fade and peel off quickly. The Pullup & Dip Gymnastic Rings are not a bad option, but you have to make that value assessment yourself. I recommend comparing them to the other Gymnastic Rings we reviewed to see how they stack up.
