🔑Key Takeaways
- GORNATION Dip Bars are high-quality products that are great for doing dips and potentially other Calisthenics workouts.
- The GORNATION Pull-Up Station offers by far the most versatility and is a complete home gym on its own, especially if you add-ons like the bench, barbell, and weight plates. It is also good for dips, but you cannot change the width.
- The GORNATION Dip Station is the perfect dip equipment, with great grip, thickness and an adjustable width. It is also very stable and high enough for weighted dips with a dip belt. If you want equipment that is optimised for dips, the GORNATION Dip Station is the best choice.
- The Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars offer the same stability as the Dip Station, but with a lower weight capacity and no easy adjustment of the width once you bolt them down to your wall. They are more budget-friendly, though.
- The Free-Standing GORNATION Dip Bars are an easy-to-use, budget-friendly, and unobtrusive pair of bars. They suffer from stability issues, just like any other pair of free-standing bars; however, you can address them by connecting them with connecting plates for added stability. The advantage of these bars is that they can also be used as makeshift Static Bars.
Which GORNATION Dip Bars is Right for You?
GORNATION makes excellent Calisthenics home gym equipment, and you can’t go wrong with any of their products. However, which specific product to get for your specific use does matter. In general, you can go either with a more versatile product that also does other exercises, or focus on just doing dips. If you choose more versatility, that typically comes with a higher price tag. On the flip side, if you just want to do one thing, a simpler product means a lower price.
All GORNATION Dip Bars are high-quality and great for workouts, so it really comes down to what you want to do specifically.
GORNATION Pull-Up Station
If you’re looking for maximum versatility, the GORNATION Pull-Up Station has it all. The dip bars are good, with thick handles and a nice grip. You can also decide on the height of the bars, meaning you can do very deep dips without having to bend your knees (too much). The downside of doing dips on the Pull-Up Station is that the handles are at a set width. The dip bars are part of the Pull-Up Station’s overall design, so there is no adjusting the width of the feet, for instance.

However, the GORNATION Pull-Up Station is essentially a complete home gym combined in one product. Aside from dips, you can do your pull-ups, chin-ups and even push-ups on a thick bottom bar. The Pull-Up Station also has hooks for hanging your barbell and pins on the feet to store additional weight plates. So, aside from Calisthencis you can do your weighted squats and even bench presses.
This all makes the GORNATION Pull-Up Station the most versatile product for your home gym. You can do your Calisthenics, Weighted Calisthenics, Streetlifting and even regular weightlifting with just this one setup. GORNATION also sells all the accessories needed to make it happen, including barbells, weight plates, a bench, and floor mats.

If you want a complete gym with all your exercises and a solid dip station, the GORNATION Pull-Up Station is the right choice. Of course, many of the additions are sold separately, and this does add substantially to the price.
GORNATION Dip Station
The GORNATION Dip Station is there for doing dips only. If you want the equipment optimised for heavy dips, this is the right product. For dips, this is the perfect platform. The GORNATION Dip Station is high, and you have enough height to do weighted dips using a Dip Belt. It also has very thick grips with a nice powder-coated texture.

A nifty feature of the Dip Station is that you can decide the width between the bars. It is a little bit involved with unscrewing some bolts, setting the width and tightening it all down again. But once you have the perfect width dialled in, you get the perfect dip station.
The GORNATION Dip Station has holding pins for your weight plates on the sides and a step-up to help you get into a dipping position. With a maximum capacity of 300kg, you can easily scale up your Weighted Calisthenics as well.

If you want the perfect dip station designed primarily for weighted dips, the GORNATION Dip Station is the perfect fit.
Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars
If you want to keep things simple and just stick to regular dips, the Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars are a great solution. You get to decide the width between the bars and the height, but once they are fixed to the wall, that’s what you have. The grip is very nice, though, and the bars are thick. They are also the cheapest product in our comparison.

You can do your regular dips on these bars, including some weighted dips, although they are clearly meant for higher-volume, regular Calisthenics. There is an outdoor version of the Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars, which is the ideal setting for these kinds of bars. You can mount them to a (typically more robust) outside wall as part of your own Calisthenics Park at home.
If you want a cost-effective solution for high-volume, regular Calisthenics, the Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars are the right choice.
Free-Standing GORNATION Dip Bars
If you want to add statics to your regular Calisthenics exercise, it is useful when your Dip Bars can double as makeshift Static Bars. This means you can transition to your statics from doing your dips, without having to break out a different type of equipment.
These Premium GORNATION Dip Bars feel good but are on the thinner side compared to the other options here. You have to make many concessions when choosing free-standing dip bars. They are not as stable as fixed and/or heavier designs. The bars are quite low to the ground, so you have to bend your knees during dips. It’s also not ideal for weighted Calisthenics since you can’t wear a dip belt well.

However, GORNATION addresses many of the typical problems with free-standing dip bars with their connector plates. These plates allow you to fix the two bars together for additional stability. Joined together, these dip bars are stable enough for handstands and many other, off-the-floor exercises. We’d just wish the connector plates had a bit more width options, and would like a bit more height for our dips.

A single dip bar can be used as a makeshift static bar. You can do your planks, rows and levers on a single dip bar. Especially when they are joined together, they are stable enough for these simple statics. However, they are still quite low for exercises like a skin-the-cat.
This leaves the Free-Standing GORNATION Dip Bars somewhere between the Dip Station and a Static Bar. It’s not great at either, but it can do both with a lightweight, easy-to-use, unintrusive setup.

Conclusions About the GORNATION Dip Bars
Where does this leave us? GORNATION makes great Calisthenics Equipment and these 4 GORNATION Dip Bars are no exception. The company does not charge the highest premium prices, but it is still a top-of-the-shelf brand. You want to make the right decision the first time.
If you’re looking for a complete Calisthenics home gym, the GORNATION Pull-Up Station is the perfect choice. It has everything, including dips, pull-ups, push-ups, squats, and benches. It is a complete solution, and that can carry quite a price tag. However, you don’t have to buy a bunch of different products and depending on their brand and prices, that will offset the one-time price somewhat.
If you want something that is completely locked in on dips, and then also weighted dips, the GORNATION Dip Station is in my opinions the perfect dip bars. It has the perfect thickness, good grip texture, height and adjustable width for doing dips. It also has an incredibly high maximum capacity for doing weighted dips. The height, along with a step-up, means you can do your weighted dips while wearing a dip belt.
The last two options need to make some concessions. The wall-mounted dip bars don’t break the bank and give you some of the options of the Dip Station. Fixed to the wall, you can add some weight, and you get to decide the height and width. However, once in place, they are not easily adjusted, and the maximum weight capacity is lower than with the Dip Station. If you’re just looking for proper dips, don’t want to spend too much and only want to add a little bit of weight, eventually, the Wall-Mounted GORNATION Dip Bars are a good alternative.
The Free-Standing GORNATION Dip Bars are easy to use, unintrusive and double as a makeshift static bar. They are among the best free-standing designs, but they still have the same problems as the rest. Standalone, they are the least stable type of dip bars, which is mitigated by joining them together. You can still do your regular dips, but you’ll have to bend your legs. As a makeshift static bar, they suffice for simple statics, but you can’t do more advanced techniques like the Maltese.
Which of these GORNATION Dip Bars you need depends on your use-case and, of course, your wallet. I hope you can now make the right decision, and don’t forget to use the code CWW10 for a 10% discount on all these GORNATION Dip Bars.

Which GORNATION Dip Bars are best for you depends on your use-case. If you want a complete home gym with dip bars, the GORNATION Pull-Up Station has everything you need.
