About Gorletic
Gorletic is the ideal company to produce wooden Gymnastic Rings. Before making Calisthenics Home Equipment, Gorletic was a Spanish furniture maker with over 30 years of experience. This gives them unique craftsmanship regarding wooden equipment on the Calisthenics market. Other companies also produce wooden equipment, but they are not experienced furniture makers.
This gives Gorletic a unique position where they can combine their woodworking skill with a daring to be innovative. The company often blends new, unique designs only possible for the fine woodworker with traditional craftsmanship. We also reviewed the Gorletic Parallettes and like them. I have high hopes for the Gorletic Gymnastic Rings.
First Look At the Gorletic Gymnastic Rings
The Gorletic Gymnastic Rings have a clean and simple look. Their shape and the light color of the straps make them stand out against the competition. The finish looks even, and the laminate is crisp and faultless. I went for the 32mm grips, but the rings are also available in 28mm. The rings are plain without any markings like a logo or brand.

The straps are light in color with dark markings and numbers. The Gorletic brand name is also printed on the straps near the top. They are tightly woven but feel smooth to the touch. The slanted edges slip easily through the buckles, and the rest of the strap follows through smoothly. The buckles have a black powder coating and are easy to operate.

Everything about the Gorletic Gymnastic Rings is of good quality and has a great fit and finish.

The Gorletic Gymnastic Rings are available in the 32mm CrossFit and 28mm Olympic Gymnastics standards. I chose the CrossFit standard because that is what we use in Calisthenics. The rings are made of high-quality laminated birch wood to ensure they retain their perfect shape.
With 4.5 meters of strap length, you have plenty of length to hang the rings from any ceiling or other mounting point. They can handle 350kg each, enough for any athlete or exercise. The numbers and markings are printed on, but the print quality does seem longer-lasting than we typically see.

The Gorletic Gymnastic Rings come in a storage bag. The bag holds rings and straps and can be closed with a pull string. The bag’s quality is sufficient to keep the rings together and somewhat safe from the elements.
Exercising with the Gorletic Gymnastic Rings
I love using rings for my Calisthenics exercise. Rings are strong and versatile, and you can do many different exercises with them. The Gorletic Gymnastic Rings, keeping it high-quality but straightforward, fall into this versatile and robust category. You can do Chin-Ups and Pull-Ups just like on a Pull-Up Bar. But the versatility of these rings goes much further.

Classic gymnastic moves like Skin-the-Cat and levers can be combined with Calisthenics exercises like front- and back levers, leg raises and the Muscle-Up. Hang the rings lower and you can do rows, extensions and pelicans. Even push-ups are possible.

The Gorletic Gymnastic Rings lend themselves well to all these exercises. The rings feel great, have excellent sweat absorption, and you never lose grip. The straps are also easily adjusted and equalized.
